Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Jinja for white water rafting
Depending on your location in Kampala city, you will transfer very early in the morning to Jinja. On reaching, you will participate in the briefing session for your white water rafting experience. the day’s activity is quite thrilling with the waves hitting you. the safari experience is the perfect activity to bond with your friends while having fun. After the day’s activity, you will head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Sipi
After an early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up and you will embark on your journey to the Sipi Falls. On reaching the falls, you will be welcomed by a guide who will brief you on the activity of hiking to the falls and then head out to the top of the falls. There are 3 falls at different heights which can be reached during different hiking expeditions on your way to that at a different interval but these can be hiked in 4 hours at the top of the falls you will have magnificent views of the falls where you can even take pictures to have everlasting memories after descending downhill, you will proceed to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will go on a tour in the coffee plantation to see how coffee is grown, harvested, and dried. It should be noted that Uganda has one of the most flavorful coffee that you can also get to purchase at the end of your tour in the plantations. After the thrilling adventure, you will head back to your hotel and check out and embark on your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park safari reaching late afternoon.
Day 4: Morning game drive and cultural tour
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will meet up with your driver guide to embark for a morning game drive in Narus valley which where you will watch the Narus river where a number of animals can be seen quenching their thirst from The Narus valley attracts wide range of wild animals like buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs and many others. You will also get a chance to watch a number of bird species so don’t forget to carry your birding checklist. After the game drive, drive back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for a memorable cultural tour which will lead you to the Karamojong people who live in the neighboring villages. During the cultural tour you will be able to learn about their unique culture, tradition, way of living, visit the Karamojong manyattas, get to taste their food, enjoy their traditional songs, dances and many more. After the cultural tour you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
Day 5: Full day game drive
On this day after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, get ready to participate in a full day game drive which will give you more chances to watch a number of different animal species as you go about their daily activities in the wild. Dinner and overnight stay as the night before.
Day 6: Morning game drive and fly to Entebbe.
On your last day after breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to head for another unforgettable game drive where you will be able view some of the animals that you might have missed out on during your previous game drives. After the game drive, you will have lunch and be transferred to Apoka airstrip for your domestic flight back to Entebbe International Airport to catch up on your flight back home or be dropped at the hotel.
