Mabamba Swamp Bird Checklist: Mabamba swamp is famous for being an important birding destination in Uganda for travelers interested in Uganda and also being home to the endangered shoebill stork which is a pre- historic bird with a number of rewarding features like its sound being similar to a machine gun and its ability to stand motionless for hours while hunting.
