Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Akagera National Park

At an agreed location of your choice in Kigali city, connect with the guide, embark on a briefing session for the safari experience, and then make your way to Akagera National Park. On reaching the park, you will have a short game drive as you make your way to your accommodation. Look out for a number of animal species like the elands, gazelles, and many more. Check into your hotel, have lunch, and later in the afternoon, you will participate in the boat cruise on Lake Ihema, which will give you the chance to watch the sunset, and you will watch several water birds like the kingfishers and the endangered shoebill stork, among other rewarding attractions. After making your way back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day game drive and transfer back to Kigali city

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will participate in a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park. You will embark on two game drives: the morning and the afternoon game drives. The morning game drive will give you access to the early risers like the elands, Uganda kobs, the oribi, and many other herbivores. During the afternoon game drive, you will watch the carnivores like the leopards, lions, hyenas hunting, and many other species you might have missed out on during your morning game drive. After the safari experience, you will transfer back to Kigali city, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice, marking the end of your 2 days Akagera National Park Wildlife Adventure.
