1 Day Nairobi City Tour

1 Day Nairobi City Tour: Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya and one of the most notable cities to visit, offering a unique blend of wildlife and history that complements the urban setting of the city. The Nairobi city tour will start as early as 7:00 a.m., with a meeting to begin the briefing session for your safari experience. After the session, embark on visiting the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which is a sanctuary focused on the rehabilitation of the orphaned elephants that you will get to take care of for a day by bottle feeding them. At the trust, you will watch how the species have thrived, and what’s interesting about the Programme is the fact that some elephants have been released back to the wild after their rehabilitation. Later, you will visit the Karen Blixen Museum, which showcases the life of the famous Danish author Karen Blixen, who wrote the memoir “Out of Africa” that tells a tale about her life in Africa. After the visit to the Karen Blixen museum, you will make your way to the giraffe center, where you will visit the Rothschild’s giraffes for a day, a rewarding activity that will give you an up-close look at the species. After the experience, you will have lunch and later in the afternoon get to visit the city market to purchase souvenirs, crafts, vibrant textiles, and so much more to take home. You will make your way to the city centre to observe the day-to-day lives of the people of the country, you will participate in the walking tour where you will visit the malls, and visit the KICC rooftop to enjoy the panoramic views of the city skyline. After the experience, your guide for the safari will drop you off at a location of your choice, which will mark the end of your 1 day Nairobi city tour.
