Day 1: transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Meet up with your guide in kampala city whowill then transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. The activity is an on-foot activity, which will give you an up-close look at the species in their natural habitat. After make your way to the park where you will arrive in time to participate in the top of the falls hike which will give you an aerial view of the world’s most powerful waterfalls, you will watch the devil’s culdron and many other attracctions, take pictures and later in the late afternoon participate in the boat cruise that will lead you to the bottom of the falls. Interesting about the cruise is the fact that you will watch rewarding bird species like the kingfishers, red-throated bee-eaters, giant kingfishers, goliath herons, and many other bird species. After the experience, head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Birding and transfer back to Kampala City

Have an early morning game drive focused on birding. This will lead you to the Buligi savannah area, where you will spot several savannah birds like the Abyssinian ground hornbill, black-headed lapwing, Denham’s bustard, and many other attractions.
