Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park, birding in Bigodi

Your guide in Kampala city, who will transfer you to Kibale National Park, will meet you. You will have a stopover at Imigongo cultural center for lunch and also get to visit the museum where you will understand more about the Ankole people and their culture when you visit the museum. After the experience, make your way to Kibale national park reaching in time to participate in birding in Bigodi Swamp. The safari experience in the park will give you a 3 hour’s walk, which will give you access to over 100 bird species, among which include the water birds like the kingfishers, papyrus gonolek, the blue turaco, and many other rewarding attractions. After the experience, head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park

Have breakfast at your hotel and then set out to participate in chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. The experience starts at Kanyachu with a briefing session on the rules and regulations to follow, and then you embark on your chimpanzee trekking experience. The experience will give you access to the habituated chimpanzee troops that you will get to observe to understand more about their rewarding safari experience. After the experience, head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day birding in Kibale and departure

Have lunch at your hotel and make your way to participate in birding in Kibale National Park. The second day of your birding experience in Kibale National Park will lead you to Kanyachu, which will give you access to over 100 bird species. The safari experience will lead you to several bird species, like the most southerly green-breasted pitta, white-throated hornbill, and many other rewarding attractions that will make your safari experience quite rewarding. After your safari experience, make your  way back to Kampala city, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice, and this will mark the end of your 3 days birding and chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park safari
