Day 1: Transfer to Nairobi National Park and walking safari

After an early-morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive will take approximately 3 hours, which will give you access to several attractions, like the tea estates. You will enjoy watching the rush hour of Kenyans going to work, and when you reach the countryside, you will watch coffee plantations and tea plantations. When you get to the reserve, you will embark on an afternoon birding experience, and you will watch several bird species like the secretary bird, lilac-breasted roller, and different vultures. After the safari experience, you will make your way to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-day birding safari in Maasai Mara and departure

After enjoying breakfast and very early in the morning,  make your way to the park’s plains to participate in the birding because the birds are active in the morning. The drive will take place in the Mara river which will give you access to several water birds like the Goliath, grey, and black-headed herons, yellow-billed storks, saddle-billed storks, African fish eagles, Madagascar squacco heron, and many other bird species.
