This 2 days Bwindi gorilla safari from Kigali will give you the chance to access Bwindi impenetrable national park from the shortest time to take part in the gorilla trekking experience in Uganda. while participating in the safari get ready to amazed by a number of attractions that the country possesses. Once you make your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park, you will get the opportunity to observe a number of attractions in the park as you hike through the thick vegetation as you watch a number of Albertine endemic bird species like; the long-crested eagle handsome Francolin, Rwenzori Batis Dusky turtle love, paradise flycatcher, archer’s ground robin, African Rwenzori, double collared sunbird, marsh harrier, Ruwenzori turaco.

You will get to watch a number of primate species and many other rewarding attractions. when you get to the habituated gorilla families which will give you the opportunity to spend one hour with the gorillas observing their rewarding features of the primates in the wild.

if you get time you can also participate in the Kigali city tour which will give you the chance to visit a number of sites in the city like the Kigali genocide memorial museum which will help you get an insight of the 1994 Rwanda genocide, you will also visit the Kimironko market to understand more about the culture of the people of Rwanda and many other rewarding sites for an amazing safari experience.

DAY 1:  CITY TOUR & TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

You will be picked from your hotel in Kigali and go for a tour of the remarkable Kigali city – visiting Kimironko local market where you will interact with the locals and try a bargain on the local produce like the different organic fruit, you will also get to engage with a number of local traders from the different countries like Uganda, Congo and many more seeing different traditional attires for an amazing experience, visit the genocide memorial site where you will learn more about the terrible 1994 genocide and how it shaped the country to be one of the safest countries to visit in Africa. Have lunch and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through Katuna boarder and arriving Bwindi impenetrable national park the home of Uganda gorillas in the evening. Dinner and overnight at a hotel of your choice.

DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING BWINDI & BACK TO KIGALI

You will enjoy early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00am. After the briefing session which involves the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking in Uganda, you will start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas in the wild which will take between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.

After your gorilla trekking experience in Uganda, you will enjoy your lunch transfer to Kigali arriving in the evening and you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in the city or Kigali international airport and the end of your 2 days Bwindi gorillas safari from Kigali. Drop off at the airport or your hotel in Kigali.
