Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

At an agreed location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali International airport, you will be met by a representative of our tour company who will pick you and embark on the journey to Volcanoes National. Before the journey he will take you through a briefing session and later participate in a brief Kigali City Tour which will take you on a journey to discover a number of rewarding destinations in the city and among the places you can visit include; Kimironko market where you can buy a number of items like African fabrics and many more, you can visit the Kigali Genocide memorial Museum which will give you the chance to understand more about the 1994 Rwanda genocide. After the tour you will transfer to Ruhengeri check in your hotel for relaxation have lunch in case you did not have it on your way and later in the afternoon participate in the iby’iwacu cultural tour to get an insight about the culture of Rwanda (optional activity). after the activity transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Rwanda

On the 2nd day of your 2 days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari, After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, with your packed lunch, you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters. After the briefing is at 7 am, your guide will give you highlights of your activity and the gorillas’ specific details about their way of living and many other interesting features. The hike to the habituated gorilla families can take about 3-7 hours trekking through the steep, bamboo slopes and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Once you reach the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you stand 7 meters away, taking their pictures as you observe their ways of co-existence in the wild. Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will connect again with your driver / guide and transfer back to Kigali arriving in the evening. Drop-off at the airport or your hotel in Kigali
