Day 1: Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of our tour company to welcome you to Kenya. Depending on the time you make your way to the park, you will get to participate in a Nairobi city tour you will get the opportunity to visit some shopping centers, city walks, you will get to visit the Maasai villages where you will interact with the locals to understand more about their rewarding cultures, you will get to purchase their souvenirs, cultural attires and so on. After the experience, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will connect with your guide to transfer to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.  The reserve is the ultimate destination for travelers who are interested in participating in the wildlife safaris in Kenya.  The drive to the Maasai Mara will give you exceptional views of the fast-paced Kenyan landscape while driving to the reserve. The reserve is famous for housing over 8000 animals, including the big five animals: the leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, lions and leopards and herbivores like the bushbucks, elands, gazelles, and wildebeest, and many other attractions. It should be noted that the Maasai Mara National Reserve is the most notable destination for the wildebeest migration. Day 3-5: Full day game drives following the wildebeest migration

On these days, day 3-5, you will get to participate in the game drives in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will wake up early to an early morning breakfast and then embark on the game drives in Maasai Mara National Reserve, following the wildebeest migration through the park. If you’re lucky enough, you will get to watch in the spectacular Mara River crossing, which will give you the chance to watch over a million wildebeest crossing the river from Serengeti National Park. The herds can be seen facing off with the crocodiles, lions, and other predators as they fight to make their way to the savannah plains searching for green pastures and water.

Day 6: Departure and Isebania border crossing

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, check out of your lodge in Tanzania through the Isebania border and depending on the time you reach, you can cross to the park or stay at a hotel nearby for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Tarangire and a game drive

You will be picked up by your guide from your hotel or a location of your choice in the city and driven to Tarangire National Park, a park famous for having large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and many diverse wildlife species. On reaching the park, you will embark on a full day game drive to watch a number of eye catching attractions from the 100 year old baobab trees, you will watch carnivores like the lions, leopards catching their prey, get ready to watch the wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, hippo, giraffes can also be seen and for travelers interested in birding in Serengeti national park, carry your bird checklist for Tanzania because a number of different bird species can be seen during the drive near the tarangire river where are number of animals converge to quench their thirst during the dry season. Day 8: Morning drive and transfer to Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will have a short game drive as you exit Tarangire and make your way to Serengeti national park will drive you to Serengeti national park where you will enjoy beautiful views of the savannah plains of the national park and also get to watch a number of different animal species like the big five such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos among others. You will be driven to your lodge for check-in for dinner and overnight stay at Osinon camps and lodges

Day 9: Full day in Serengeti National Park

After your breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will then proceed to participate in the full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. On reaching the plains and the different trails, you will get to watch the different features in the wild, like the herbivores, like the buffalos and rhinos, as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, and waterbucks as they graze in the plains. You will also get the opportunity to watch a number of carnivores as well like the leopards, hyenas, lions, and many other attractions. After your full day drive, you will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, as on the night before.

Day 10: Morning game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to the park’s plains to participate in a short game drive which will give you the chance to watch more species that you might have missed out after to the Ngorongoro crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera that is home to a number of animal species like the big five animals, a number of herbivores and carnivores and many others. On reaching the crater, you will get to participate in a short game drive to help you watch a number of animal species. After the safari experience, you will head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater drive

After an early breakfast at the lodge, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend the crater, clad with your packed lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater hosts over 25,000 animals, including all the big 5 animals. Look out for various wild game on the crater floor while on your Ngorongoro Crater drive, as well as sweeping views of the landscape and scenery of Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy your picnic lunch, and visit Lake Magadi for an opportunity to see pink flamingos on the lake. Proceed thereafter to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Manyara and departure to Arusha

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will continue your drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a stop in Mto wa
Mbu to see the local crafts. You will continue to your lodge for lunch after your visit to Mto wa mbu. You will engage in an afternoon game drive after lunch at your lodge in Lake Manyara National Park. You will also enjoy views of the rift valley escarpment and also see various wildlife species such as the tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, and many others. You will then make your way back to Arusha city, where you will be dropped off at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 13: Fly to Rwanda and Kigali city tour

After an early morning breakfast, you will head to Arusha airportwhere you will catch your flight to Rwanda. On reaching Kigali International Airport, you will transfer to your Kigali city tour. On reaching the city, you will check into your hotel for relaxation and later in the afternoon you will embark on the Kigali city tour which will lead you the Kigali genocide memorial museum which will give you the chance to understand more about the dark times of Rwanda in 1994 that killed over 1,000,000 people which was such a devastating time for the Rwandans however making your way to the museum, you will get to watch how the country has thrived from the dark times. You can visit the Kimironko market the oldest market in Rwanda where you can purchase some local produce like organically grown coffee, you can buy some African print clothes that are handmade and some from bark cloth harvested from trees, you can also you will also get to watch many other rewarding sites like Mount Kigali for travelers that are interested in out-door activities like archery, zip lining, horseback riding can also be enjoyed and for hikers,  you can hike to the summit which will give you breath-taking views of the city not forgetting the rolling hills. Day 14: Transfer to Akagera National Park and Ihema Boat Cruise. 

You will be met by your driver guide at your agreed location in Kigali to transfer to Akagera national park where you will arrive in time to embark in an early morning game drives that will give you the chance to watch a number of game animals especially the herbivores like the elephants grazing within the plains, the rhinos, you will also get to see a number of remarkable views for the park and a number of rewarding attractions after your game drive you will transferred to the lodge for lunch and refreshments and later on participate in the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see game like hippopotamuses, Crocodiles and many bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, African King fishers catching their prey from the Lake that live around the lake and the surrounding swamps.  Transfer to your pack for dinner and overnight stay. Day 15: Full day  Game drive in Akagera National Park

Rise up early in the morning, have breakfast and go for a morning game drive with great anticipation of seeing the different animals which rise early to graze and predators looking for their early morning kill, especially the big cats like the leopard, lions and many other carnivores. You will get to watch a number of herbivores like the rhinos grazing within the plains, elephants, gazelle, oribi, and many other rewarding game animals. After the morning game drives, you will head back to your hotel for refreshments and later in the afternoon, transfer to take part in the evening game drive. Get ready to watch how the park comes to life as the sunsets, with a number of predators coming from their hiding spots to catch prey, the herbivores catching their last bite for the day, the crocodiles can be seen sun-basking, and elephants quenching their thirst from the river banks, which will make your safari quite memorable. Day 16: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

In the morning, you will be picked up by the driver from your hotel in Kigali and driven southwards to Nyungwe Forest National Park.

Day 17: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk.

Enjoy breakfast and go for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees before entering the forest in search of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest. The Chimpanzees are much easier to spot as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimpanzee tracking usually takes about 3 hours. On finding them, spend an hour taking pictures and videos.  You will then return to your hotel to freshen up, have lunch, then check out and later in the afternoon participate in After lunch, you will participate in a walking trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk swing bridge, 50 meters in length, that is suspended from large trees. You will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving about below you. Day 18: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Have breakfast and connect to have the cultural experience offered by the park, get to interact with the local community around the park, and exit the park to connect to Volcanoes National Park via Kigali. You will have lunch in Kigali and continue to Ruhengeri town for the night in anticipation of the gorilla trek the following day. Dinner and overnight will be at the selected lodge of accommodation. Day 19: Golden monkey trekking

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the habituated golden monkey troop, you will see a number of primate species like dent’s monkey, vervet monkey and the black and white colobus monkeys among other monkey species swinging in the tree branches as you get to the habituated golden monkey troop, you will have the chance to see a number of rewarding aspects of the golden monkeys observing a number of features that you will find fascinating about the primates for instance their feeding patterns, the co-existence with one another among other memorable aspects. At the climax of your time with the golden monkeys, you will take pictures with and after you will transfer back to your park headquarters, where you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, as the night before

Day 20: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Kigali

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel with your packed lunch to transfer you. Our guide will meet you after having your breakfast and your lunches packed and he will take you to Kinigi Headquarters, where you are expected to be given a brief before starting the gorilla trek. This brief is done at 7 am. You are given guidelines during this brief before you are allowed to start the trek. This gorilla trek can take anywhere from 2 hours to half a day as it’s unpredictable. When you finally find the gorillas, you will have to maintain a 7 meters’ distance, and you are allowed one hour to admire and take photos of the gorillas. During the time you spend with the gorillas you will get the opportunity to understand a number of their rewarding features like how they co-exist with one another, you will get to watch the duty of the dominant silverback whose role is to mate with the adult females to increase the members of the family, raid other gorilla families for their members, you will watch the juveniles grooming one another for a rewarding safari experience. After the trek, you will then embark on your journey back to Kigali, where you will check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at hotel des Mille Collines.

Day 21: Transfer to Kigali city and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Cyanika border. Depending on the time you reach the hotel, you can get to participate in the Batwa trail experience, to understand more about the culture of the people of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in either of the sectors of the park.

Day 22: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to transfer to the park headquarters in any sector of the park to embark on your gorilla trekking experience in Uganda, which will give you access to the habituated mountain gorillas in Africa. The safari experience will take about 2-7 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas the previous night. During the safari experience, you will watch a number of different animal species as they go about their daily activities in the wild. Interesting about the safari experience, you will get to spend an hour with the species, understanding more about their behavior in the wild. After the safari experience, you will then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector, watching the tree-climbing lions. When you reach your hotel, check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 23: Full day game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, your guide for the safari will pick you up and transfer you to the park’s game drive trails to embark on your full day game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.  You will watch a number of mammal species like; Common Duiker, Defassa Waterbuck, Oribi reedbucks, Impalas, Buffalos, Bush pigs, Giraffes, Eland, and Zebras, Uganda kobs up-close After the first half of your drive, you will have lunch and later in the afternoon, you will participate in the second half of your drive to watch a number of animals that you might have missed out on while on your morning drive. Day 24: Lion tracking and departure

After an Early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will then transfer to the park to participate in Lion tracking in Uganda which will give you access to a given lion pride which will give you the chance to understand the behavior of the species in the wild with lion tracking in the wild, you will have the chance to get an up close look at the species in their given lion pride. You will have the opportunity to watch the males as they protect the lion pride, and you will also get to watch the females as they catch their prey in the wild. You will get to see how the lions establish their territories by urinating along their territory. With this, other lions from different prides will not cross over to another lion’s pride. After the experience, you will then make your way to transfer back to kampala city and the end of your 24 days Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda safari.
