Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi
On day 1 of the 3 Days Gorilla Habituation in Uganda, upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport or at your preferred pickup time from your location in Kigali, you will be met by our representative who will be with you full time for all your travel days with us. You will then embark on your journey from Kigali to your hotel near Bwindi Impenetrable forest. This journey is a 4 to 5 hour ride. You will have a lunch stopover and also get to enjoy the informed tour by our guide en route. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will refresh, have dinner then rest in anticipation for the day. If time is willing, you can participate in the Batwa trail experience which will give you an insight into the formerly forest people.
DAY 2: Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi.
On the 2nd day of the 3 Days Gorilla Habituation in Uganda, in the morning you will be provided with breakfast at the lodge just before you set off to the forest headquarters. Your lunch will be packed then our guide will drive you to the headquarters which are quite close to the hotel. After the briefing, you will join a group of researchers for the gorilla habituation. You will be allowed to spend 4 hours with the group of gorillas which is more compared to gorilla trekking in in Uganda.
After this, you will return to your hotel to rest and have dinner as the night before.
DAY 3: Transfer back to Kigali.
This day you will have breakfast at your hotel and then check out of the hotel in time. When you are ready our guide will pick you and you start your journey back to Kigali you will advise your preferred location in Kigali city or at Kigali international airport.
