Detailed itinerary of 3 Days Nairobi and Maasai Mara Safari

DAY 1: Transfer Nairobi National park and Giraffe Center

You will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi or anywhere to Nairobi city by our driver/guide and head to Nairobi National park for a morning game drive, as you enter the park you will be welcomed by the scenic backdrop of the city’s skyscrapers since the park is found in the city tour. When you embark on the game drive, you will watch numerous species like lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, warthogs and many more.

After the game drive you will exit the lunch, enjoy your lunch en-route, to the Giraffe Center where you will meet the giraffes and get to feed them. After the safari experience,   head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at La Maison Royale Hotel 

DAY 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara and Afternoon Game drive

After an early morning breakfast, you transfer to Maasai Mara national reserve with a drive through the Great Rift Valley floor. On reaching the park you will arrive in the reserve in time for lunch and later in the afternoon you will go for a game viewing experience driving through the rolling hills and the open plains of the reserve. Among the different attractions that will be seen include the lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, elands, gazelles among others. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Alternatively, instead of the afternoon game drive, you can participate in the cultural tour which will give you the opportunity to visit the Maasai village which will give you the chance to understand more about the authentic culture of the indigenous Maasai people through their cultural dance, traditional cuisines and many other rewarding features. DAY 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Wake up very early in the morning an embark on an early morning game drive which will help you watch a number of different animals species before the sun rises. Some of the nocturnal animals like the lions, cheetahs, leopards and African wild dogs can easily be seen since they tend to hide during the hot season. After the game drive, head back to your lodge for breakfast and later make your back to Nairobi city where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in the city or airport to catch your flight.
