Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park

At an agreed location in Kigali city, meet up with your guide and embark on your journey to Akagera National Park. On reaching the park, you will participate in a short game drive, and this will give you access to several mammal species like the elands, gazelles, oribi, and many others grazing within the plains. After having lunch and checking into your hotel, later in the day, you will make your way to Lake Ihema to enjoy the boat cruise in Akagera National Park. The cruise will give you the best chance to capture the endangered shoebill stork, the sunset, and several mammal species and water birds catching their prey. After the boat cruise, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: full day photographer searching for the wildlife species

Get ready to capture the sun rising as the herbivores and the early risers catch their first for the day within the savannah plains. Some of the different attractions that you will get to capture are the carnivores like the hyenas, lions, and leopards catching their prey. You will also have the opportunity to watch the herbivores like the zebras and giraffes grazing within the plains for a memorable safari experience. After the experience, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 3: Departure

Have breakfast and make your way to the park’s plains to catch the last glimpse of the park before you make your way back to your country. Capture the early risers for the last time, enjoy the sunrise, and other attractions. After the experience, make your way back to Kigali city for drop off, and this will mark the end of your 3 days photography safari in Akagera National Park.
