Detailed 3 Days Tarangire Safari and Tribe Experience (Datoga and Hadzabe)

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Eyasi Area with en-route Tarangire National Park Game Drive

On this 1st day of the 3 Days Tarangire Safari and Tribe Experience (Datoga and Hadzabe), our Tanzania safari guide shall pick you up from your hotel of stay in Arusha and welcome you for your safari experience. After a short briefing about the safari, you will then start your transfer to Lake Eyasi with your packed lunch and have a short stopover for game viewing in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is known for having large herds of elephants as well as ancient baobab trees.

During your game drive in the national park, you will see wildlife species such as gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks, among others, as well as the various bird species, for which this national park is known.

Proceed to Lake Eyasi, which is the home of the Hadza and Datoga tribes. Check in at the camp, relax, and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at The Camp with the Hadzabe

Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Visit the Hadzabe and Datoga Tribes.

This day will be full of culture, with interesting encounters with the local tribes of Hadzabe and Datoga. Have an early breakfast at 6 am and thereafter depart for a hunting experience until 12 PM.

Enjoy lunch, rest, and at 3 PM go for a Datoga tribe experience, such as blacksmithing. Head to Lake Eyasi for a sunset experience, watch flamingos, pelicans, and even fishermen if any then. Day 3: Departure

After an early breakfast, with your packed lunch, you shall head out on a transfer to Arusha with a drop off at the JRO OR ARK for your flight, or hotel of stay in Arusha. This brings your experience with us to an end.
