Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Kilimanjaro Hike
Our company representative will meet you in either Arusha or Moshi town at the foothills of Kilimanjaro Mountain, one of the world’s seven summits and the highest mountain in Africa. at your starting point, you will be briefed about your hike and after making the hike along the Marangu route, which will take you 6 hours to ascend and descend which will give you rewarding views of the 3 cones of the mountain, snow-capped peak with beautiful vegetation cover. After, your Kilimanjaro hike, you will be driven to Moshi town where you shall have dinner and an overnight stay at Bristol Cottages
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti national park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Moshi, your guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park Enjoy a drive to your lodge which will give you stunning views of the savannah plains as you watch a number of different animal species like the big five such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos among others. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Osinon Camps and Lodges
Day 3: Full day Serengeti National Park
After having early breakfast at your lodge with your packed lunch, your driver will be waiting for you to take you on a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. this full day game drive will give you access to the perfect African safari watching both the herbivores and the carnivores like the leopards, and lions as they catch their prey. After the morning game drive, you will visit a picnic spot where you will have lunch enjoying the African wildlife and the most refreshing air. After lunch you will then embark on the afternoon game drive which is the perfect time to watch a number of carnivores as they catch their prey, the herbivores will be coming from their hiding spots/ shade to grab a bite. Some of the species you will watch include; lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas and waterbucks among others. After your full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges
Day 4: Drive to Arusha
Before you embark on your way back to Arusha, enjoy breakfast and later participate in a half-day/ short game drive and soak in the beauty of the park before you call it a day in the park watching a number of different animal species and memorable views. After you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha and this will mark the end of your 4 days on Mount Kilimanjaro hike and Serengeti National Park safari.
