5 Days Lake Mburo And Kibale National Park Safari: Lake Mburo is famous for the herbivores in Uganda that can be seen when you participate in the Kibale National Park for its 13 primate species that can be seen when you embark on a number of different activities like chimpanzee trekking in Kibale national park which will give you access to the endangered chimpanzee troops. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to lake Mburo national park

At an agreed location in Kampala city, your driver guide will pick you up as early as 5:00 am so as to avoid encountering traffic on the busy road to Lake Mburo National Park. On reaching your starting point, he will give you a briefing session on your safari experience, have breakfast, and later embark on a boat cruise which will give you the opportunity to watch a number of water birds like the kingfishers as they catch their prey from the water source, you will watch the hippos taking dips in the water and many other attractions. After the boat cruise, you will then embark on the game drive which will give you access to a number of herbivores like zebras, antelopes, warthogs, giraffes and many other rewarding animal species. After your safari experience, you will then head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 2: Morning game drive and evening boat cruise

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to the park’s plains to participate in a morning game drive which will give you the chance to watch a number of different animal species that might have missed out on the previous day. After your safari experience, you will make your way to the hotel for lunch and after you will participate in the evening boat cruise which will give you the chance to watch a number of different attractions from the shoe bill stork, kingfishers and many other attractions in the wild. After your safari experience head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to transfer to Kibale National Park the primate hub of Uganda where you will get to watch over 13 primate species that will give you the most memorable safari experience. On reaching the park, you will visit the Bigodi Swamp where you will participate in the nature walks which will give you access to a number of different attractions like the different bird species in the wild. For travelers interested in birding in Uganda, you will have the perfect chance to access the different bird species. The swamp is home to over 200 bird species so don’t forget to carry your birding checklist of Uganda because there are a number of different bird species that can be seen. After the experience head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and cultural tour

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, with your packed lunch, we will transfer you to Kibale National Park for you to take part in the chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. on reaching the park headquarters, you will participate in a briefing session on the chimpanzee trekking activity in the park, and the rules and regulations to follow during the memorable activity. The rewarding activity will give you the opportunity to visit one of the habituated chimpanzee troops in the park. as you make your way to the habituated chimpanzee troops, you will get to see a number of rewarding attractions like the different bird species like the African pitta, Abyssinian ground thrush, Crowned eagle, Dusky crimson wing, Black-capped Apalis, Collared Apalis, Purple-breasted sunbird among other attractions. On reaching the habituated troops in the park, you will get the chance to know more about the chimpanzees like how they co-exist with one another, and their feeding patterns among other rewarding experiences, during your safari you will take pictures of the primates a number of bird species among other attractions in the park.  After the rewarding experience in the park, you will participate in the cultural tour which will give you the chance, to participate in the cultural tour which will give you the opportunity to understand the culture of the people of Uganda from their cultural dances, their traditional cuisines, and many other features. After the safari experience, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way back to Kampala city having lunch en-route in Mbarara city. Drop off at your hotel in kampala city or Entebbe International Airport to catch your next flight home.
