Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Serengeti National Park
Upon your arrival in, you will have breakfast at your hotel in Moshi, your guide will meet up with you brief you about your 5 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater Safari and what to expect for your safari experience in the wild. After the briefing session, your guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park where you will enjoy beautiful views of the savannah plains of the national park and also get to watch a number of different animal species like the big five such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos among others. You will be driven to your lodge for check in for dinner and overnight stay at Osinon camps and lodges
Day 2: Full day Serengeti national park
After your breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will then proceed to participate in the full day game drive in Serengeti national park. on reaching the plains and the different trails, you will get to watch the different features in the wild like the herbivores like the buffalos and rhinos as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks as they graze in the plains. You will also get the opportunity to watch a number of carnivores as well like; the leopards, hyenas, lions and many other attractions. After your full day drive, you will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as the night before.
Day 3: Short game drive and transfer to the Ngorongoro crater
After having breakfast ahead to the park’s plains for a half day game drive which will give you a chance to watch more species that you might have missed out on the night before. After your safari experience, you will make your way to the Ngorongoro crater reaching in time to participate in a short game drive. After you will check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day Ngorongoro crater drive
After an early breakfast at the lodge, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a full day ngrongoro crater drive. Descend the crater clad with your packed lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater hosts over 25,000 animals, including all the big 5 animals. Look out for various wild game in the crater floor while on your Ngorongoro Crater drive, as well as sweeping views of the landscape and scenery of Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy your picnic lunch, and yet visit also Lake Magadi for an opportunity to see pink flamingos on the lake.
Day 5: Short game drive and transfer back to Arusha city
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will participate in a short game drive before you make your way back to Arusha city. Proceed thereafter for transfer to Arusha with a drop off at the airport, or hotel in Arusha of your booking, bringing your 5 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater safari.
