This 5 days Serengeti and Zanzibar safari will give you the chance to explore the wildlife destinations in Tanzania and also get to have an adventure-filled relaxation visiting both the Serengeti National Park and Zanzibar. The safari experience will take you on a wildlife safari, participating in the game drives in the Serengeti National Park, which will give you access to over 89 mammal species, including the big five animals in Tanzania. When you finish your wildlife experience in the park, you will then fly to Zanzibar, where you will explore the white sands of Zanzibar and other notable attractions, as explained in the detailed itinerary below.

Day 1: Drive to Serengeti National Park

Upon your arrival in, you will have breakfast at your hotel in Moshi, your guide will meet up with you brief you about your 3 days Serengeti National Park safari and what to expect for your safari experience in the wild. After the briefing session, your guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park where you will enjoy beautiful views of the savannah plains of the national park and also get to watch a number of different animal species like the big five such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos among others. You will be driven to your lodge for check in for dinner and overnight stay at Osinon camps and lodges

Game drives in Serengeti National Park

Day 2: Full day Serengeti National Park

After your breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will then proceed to participate in the full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. on reaching the plains and the different trails, you will get to watch the different features in the wild like the herbivores like the buffalo and rhinos as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, and waterbucks as they graze in the plains. You will also get the opportunity to watch a number of carnivores as well like; the leopards, hyenas, lions and many other attractions. After your full day drive, you will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as the night before.

Day 3: Short game drive and fly to Zanzibar

After having breakfast, head to the park’s plains for a half-day game drive, which will give you a chance to watch more species that you might have missed the night before.  After your safari experience, drive to Seronera Airport for your flight to Zanzibar Island. Arrive at Zanzibar Airport and be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Zanzibar Beach

Full day in Zanzibar exploring the beaches, spice markets and leisure.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast at your beach resort in Zanzibar Island, you will spend some time relaxing, depending on your flight schedule, then be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home.
