7 Days Explore Rwanda Tours : This is a Rwanda Safari Tour that lets your explore the a thousand rolling Hills of Rwanda. Here you will visit Rwanda remarkable safari Parks such as Akagera National Park , Volcanoes National Park as well as Nyungwe National Park
Day 1: Arrive in Kigali, transfer to Akagera National Park and boat cruise
You will be met by your driver guide at your agreed location in Kigali to transfer to Akagera national park where you will arrive in time to embark in an early morning game drives that will give you the chance to watch a number of game animals especially the herbivores like the elephants grazing within the plains, the rhinos, you will also get to see a number of remarkable views for the park and a number of rewarding attractions after your game drive you will transferred to the lodge for lunch and refreshments and later on participate in the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see game like hippopotamuses, Crocodiles and many bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, African King fishers catching their prey from the Lake that live around the lake and the surrounding swamps. Day 2: Early morning game drive and transfer to volcanoes national park.
Rise up early and go for a game drive with great anticipation of seeing the different animals which rise early to graze and predators looking for their early morning kill. After the game drive, return to the lodge to freshen up and embark on your journey to Volcanoes national park with lunch en-route, arriving Ruhengeri in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (mid-range), 5 Volcanoes Gorilla lodge (luxury)
Day 3: Golden monkey trekking and cultural tour
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be met your guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters. Participate in the briefing session, and then embark on your trail to the habituated golden monkey troops in the park. The activity will give you the chance to observe the behavior of the Albertine endemic species in the wild, take pictures as you enjoy your time with them, when your time with them elapses, head back to your hotel for relaxation and lunch. Later in the afternoon take part in a cultural tour which will give you amazing experience visiting the iby’iwacu cultural village which will give you the chance to observe their culture through cultural dances, you will also get to watch how local dishes are prepared, their traditional attires and other interesting aspects of their culture. Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe national park and canopy walk
Breakfast will be served early meet your driver guide for your transfer to Nyungwe forest you will be driven southwards to Nyungwe forest National park watching a number of rewarding attractions like the rolling hills of Rwanda, the homesteads and so on. You will have a stopover in Butare, where you will visit the national museum of Rwanda, the king’s palace in Nyanza with lunch en-route. After lunch, you head for the canopy walk in Nyungwe national park which will give you exceptional views of the park as you walk along the suspended metallic trail in the trees. You will get to see a number of primates swinging within the branches, like the chimpanzees, different monkey species, you will see numerous bird species and after the rewarding experience, head back to your lodge/ hotel. Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and tea estate tour
Enjoy breakfast and go for briefing before entering the forest, searching for the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest. The Chimpanzees are the easy to spot, as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimp tracking usually takes about 3 hours. You will then return to your accommodation for lunch. After lunch, you will participate in the tea estate safari which will give you the chance to watch how the tea is harvested you will also participate in the harvesting process, how it is made among other interesting features at the estate. After the rewarding safari, head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Nziza eco lodge (Midrange)Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel (luxury)
Day 6: Primate trekking safari
After having breakfast, with your packed lunch, you will embark on the primate trekking safari which will give you the most rewarding experience exploring the different primate species in Nyungwe National park which will give you amazing experiences watching how the different monkey species like the Hamlyn’s monkey, dent’s monkey, vervet monkey, silver monkey and other different species co-exist with one another among other features in the park. Day 7: Transfer back to Kigali
Enjoy breakfast at leisure and transfer back to Kigali. You will go for a city tour where you will visit the Kimironko market and the Kigali genocide memorial site to understand more about the dark period of time during the 1994 Rwanda genocide. After having your lunch, you will be dropped at the hotel advised or you will be dropped at Kigali airport for your scheduled flight back home
