Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Upon pick up by your guide, a representative of our tour company, you be driven heading towards fort port with a stopover for en route lunch. Then, proceed through the beautiful hills of Kibale as you have a view of the agriculture that the local people tend to earn a living from.  Arrive at the park in the evening, check in the lodge. Have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking

after an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will be picked by your guide for the hotel who will transfer you to Kibale national park for you to take part in the chimpanzee trekking in Uganda. On reaching the park headquarters, you will participate in a briefing session of chimpanzee habituation in the park, the rules and regulations to follow during the memorable activity. After the briefing session, you will transfer to the forest watching a number of different attractions from the different bird species like the Albertine endemic bird species, species from the Guinea-Congo biome and many more. you should consider carrying your binoculars because the park is one of the top destinations for birding in Uganda. You will also get to watch the primate species like the mon a monkey, vervet monkey, black and white colobus monkey, Hamlyn’s monkey and many other rewarding attractions. On reaching the chimpanzee troop, you will send an hour with the species understanding their different features, taking their pictures understanding more about their rewarding features in the wild. Later in the afternoon, you can participate in an optional cultural tour or you will visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary where you will participate in the nature walk which will give you to access to watch a number of different features in the wild. After the rewarding experience in the park, you will transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: CULTURAL TOUR AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will checkout and embark on a cultural tour to understand more about the cultural of the people of Rwanda through their dance, cultural food and a number of different cultural aspects when you visit their cultural villages. After the experience make your way to Queen Elizabeth national park, south western part of Uganda. You will have en-route lunch at Mbarara. Continues with your drive to the park having spectacular views of the farmlands, traditional homesteads, tea plantations and many more. You will also have stopovers for photography to soak in the beauty of the west. Upon arrival in the park, check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth Game drive /Lion tracking and Afternoon boat cruise

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will drive to Kasenyi plains for an early morning game drive. During the game drive you will have the chance to watch a number of different attractions like a number of mammal species from the big four animals like the lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes herbivores like; the bushbucks, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, impalas, Uganda Kobs and view of various bird species many more other rewarding attractions. After the game drive, head back to your lodge for relaxation and later in the afternoon, participate in the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel; which will give you access to a number of different attractions from water animals like the hippos as they take dips within the water, elephants as they quench their thirst using their trunk, the boat cruise will give you the chance to watch a number of bird species too like the King fishers catching their prey, you will also have the chance to watch the endangered shoe bill stork, the pelican, jacana and many other attractions. Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the ishasha sector which will give you access to the tree climbing lions in the fig trips of the park, interesting about the sector is the fact that you will watch a number of different attractions as well like the buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, Uganda kobs and many more as you embark on your game drive through the ishasha sector. You will also have a stopover for lunch and make your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park reaching check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have an early morning have breakfast at 6:30 am and with packed lunch boxes. You will be pick by your driver guide to transfer you to park headquarters for briefing about gorilla. After, you will make your way to the habituated gorilla family which you will get to spend an hour with when you get contact with them. The gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park will take between 2-7 hours when you get in contact with them taking their pictures, watching their behavioral patterns in the wild.
