1 Day Dian Fossey Museum Tour: Are you a traveler interested in understanding more about the works of Dian Fossey an American primatologist who dedicated her adult life to protecting the gorillas in Congo before moving to Rwanda where she established her research station, the Karisoke research station where she carried out research on training the gorillas to get accustomed to human presence. In the Dian Fossey Museum, you will get to watch the pictorial representation of her life in Rwanda as she went about her daily research. As early as 7:00 am, you will be picked up by your guide at an agreed location and transferred to Volcanoes National Park After breakfast, set out for your 2-hour drive to Kigali with an en-route Dian Fossey museum visit where you will spend about 2 hours learning about the famous gorilla lady with artifacts that belonged to her along with an impression of the Virunga ranges. This is a thrilling walk through the museum. Connect back to Kigali for lunch and if you have more time you may visit the Kimironko market to purchase some local souvenirs for the people back home and also get to interact with the community.
