Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Akagera national park and Ihema Boat Cruise.
You will be met by your driver guide at your agreed location in Kigali to transfer to Akagera national park where you will arrive in time to embark in an early morning game drives that will give you the chance to watch a number of game animals especially the herbivores like the elephants grazing within the plains, the rhinos, you will also get to see a number of remarkable views for the park and a number of rewarding attractions after your game drive you will transferred to the lodge for lunch and refreshments and later on participate in the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see game like hippopotamuses, Crocodiles and many bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, African King fishers catching their prey from the Lake that live around the lake and the surrounding swamps. Day 2 : Full day Game drive in Akagera National Park
Rise up early in the morning, have breakfast and go for a morning game drive with great anticipation of seeing the different animals which rise early to graze and predators looking for their early morning kill, especially the big cats like the leopard, lions and many other carnivores. You will get to watch a number of herbivores like the rhinos grazing within the plains, elephants, gazelle, oribi and many other rewarding game animals. After the morning game drives, you will head back to your hotel for refreshments and later in the afternoon, transfer to take part in the evening game drive. Get ready to watch how the park comes to life as the sunsets with a number of predators coming from their hiding spots to catch prey, the herbivores catching their last bite for the day, the crocodiles can be seen sun-basking, elephants quenching their thirst from the river banks, which will make your safari quite memorable. Day 3: transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
In the morning, you will be picked by the driver from your hotel in Kigali and driven southwards to Nyungwe Forest National Park.

Day 4: chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk.
Enjoy breakfast and go for briefing about the endangered chimpanzees before entering the forest in search of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest. The Chimpanzees are much easier to spot as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimpanzee tracking usually takes about 3 hours. On finding them, spend an hour while taking pictures and videos. You will then return to your hotel to freshen up, have lunch then check out and later in the afternoon participate in After lunch, you will go on a walking trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk-a swing bridge 50 meters in length that is suspended from large trees. Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes NP
Have breakfast and connect to have the cultural experience offered by the park, get to interact with the local community around the park and exit the park to connect to Volcanoes National Park via Kigali. You will have lunch from Kigali and continue to Ruhengeri town for the night in anticipation for the gorilla trek the following day. Day 6: Golden monkey trekking
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the habituated golden monkey troop, you will see a number of primate species like dent’s monkey, vervet monkey and the black and white colobus monkeys among other monkey species swinging in the tree branches as you get to the habituated golden monkey troop, you will have the chance to see a number of rewarding aspects of the golden monkeys observing a number of features that you will find fascinating about the primates for instance their feeding patterns, the co-existence with one another among other memorable aspects. At the climax of your time with the golden monkeys ,you will take pictures with and after you will transfer back to your park headquarters ,where you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay as the night before
Day 7: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Kigali
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel with your packed lunch to transfer you . Our guide will meet you after having your breakfast and your lunches packed and he will take you to Kinigi Headquarters, where you are expected to be given a brief before starting the gorilla trek. This brief is done at 7 am. You are given guidelines during this brief before you are allowed to start the trek. This gorilla trek can take anywhere from 2 hours to half a day as its unpredictable. When you finally find the gorillas, you will have to maintain a 7-meter’ distance and you are allowed one hour to admire and take photos of the gorillas. During the time you spend with the gorillas you will get the opportunity to understand a number of their rewarding features like how they co-exist with one another, you will get to watch the duty of the dominant silverback whose role is to mate with the adult females to increase the members of the family, raid other gorilla families for their members, you will watch the juveniles grooming one another for a rewarding safari experience. After the trek, you will then embark on your journey back to Kigali dinner and overnight stay at hotel des Mille Collines
Day 8: Pick up in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park safari
Depending on your location in Kigali city, you will be picked by your guide to transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will get to participate in gorilla trekking in Uganda. Before you transfer to the park, you can participate in the Kigali city tour where you will access a number of destinations from the Kigali genocide memorial museum, Kimironko market and other sites. After the Kigali city tour, you will get to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the cyanika border. Depending on the time you reach the hotel, you can get to participate in Batwa trail experience, to understand more about the culture of the people of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in either of the sectors of the park.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to kigali
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will make your way to the park headquarters to participate in the briefing session for your gorilla trekking experience in Uganda. With gorilla trekking, you will get to spend an hour with the species, observing a number of their different features as they co-exist with one another and the forests. After the safari experience. you will then connect to your guide who will transfer you back to Kigali city where you will be dropped off at your hotel for dinner and dinner
Day 10: Boat cruise and transfer to entebbe
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out the lodge go for boat ride on the Lake where you will be able to explore some of the 29 islands such as the Akampene Island which was a punishment island where young girls were abandoned by their parents when they got impregnated before marriage and many other islands. Alternatively, instead of a boat cruise, you can participate in a village walk to understand more about the culture of the people of Uganda and their unique cultures. After you will make your way back to kampala having a stopover at the equator at kayabwe for lunch. After you will make your way to Entebbe where you will check into your hotel near the Entebbe international airport.
Day 11: Transfer to Serengeti national park through the isebania border
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to participate in the morning game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve to watch a number of different animal species. After the safari experience, you will make your way back to Serengeti National Park through Isebania., Kenya-Tanzania border to cross to Serengeti national park. Check through customs, immigration and later make your way to transfer to Serengeti national park. On reaching get ready to participate in a short game drive which will give you access to a number of different attractions from herbivores like the gazelles, elands, bushbucks to the carnivores like the lions, hyenas, leopards and so many more. After the experience, head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 12: Full day in SerengetiAfter an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of exploring Serengeti National Park and engage in a morning game drive as you look out for wildlife species like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, among others. You will also enjoy your lunch in the wilderness and later engage in another game drive. Your guide will later drive you back to your lodge, where you will relax in the comfort of your room as you prepare for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 13: Drive to Serengeti in the Southern area
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you shall proceed to drive to the southern part of Serengeti National Park, commonly known as the Ndutu area. Enjoy game drives as you drive to the Ndutu area, enjoying your packed lunch on the way. Arrive at the lodge, check in, and relax as you look forward to a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 14: Morning game drive and departure
On this last day of your safari, you shall enjoy breakfast at the lodge, and then proceed to check out and embark on a departure drive with a drop off at the airport, which shall bring your safari to an end of your 14 days Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania safari
