Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe, canopy walk, and night walk

In the morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali and drive southwards to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will have a stopover in Butare, where you will visit the national museum of Rwanda, the king’s palace in Nyanza, with lunch en route. After lunch, you will go on a walking trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk swing bridge, 50 meters in length, that is suspended from large trees. You will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving about below you, there after connect to your accommodation to spend the evening at leisure. You will participate in the night walk, which will give you the chance to watch how the species come to life when the sunsets. Some nocturnal mammals can also be seen during the safari experience, like the bush baby, square-tailed nightjar, the Albertine owlet, tree hyrax, flying squirrel, and many others. After the experience, you will head back to your hotel or dinner and overnight stay at Gisakura Visitor Centre/ Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel (mid-range)

Day 2: Cyinzobe trail experience and departure

Enjoy breakfast and go for a briefing about your Cyinzobe trail experience, a 15.5-mile hike that will give you the chance to access a number of exceptional views in the park. With the Cyinzobe trail, you will get to observe a number of attractions like the wild orchids, different primates can be seen, like the chimpanzees as they swing from tree to tree, you will watch the Kamiranzovu swamp, the largest marsh in Rwanda, which offers unique jaw-dropping views, and the highlight of your experience is the singing waterfalls.
