This 3 Days Rwanda Gorillas and Mount Bisoke Hike Safariwill lead you to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas as you make your way to volcanoes national park which will give you the opportunity to access a number of different attractions in the wild observing the different environment in the park as you embark on your gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda and mount bisoke hike for a rewarding safari experience. Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park will lead you to hike the different Virunga mountains in Rwanda like mount sabyinyo, mount gahinga, mount bisoke, mount karisimbi and mount muhabura that will lead you to a number of different features in the wild like the Albertine endemic primate species and a number of bird species endemic to the Albertine rift and then you will get to participate in mount bisoke hike which will give you the chance to hike to the summit where you will get to watch the crater that attracts a number of different attractions from the water birds, a number of forest animals that quench their thirst from there and a number of exceptional views for photography that will make your Rwanda safari quite memorable

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival, you will be met by our company representative and transfer to Kigali city where you will embark on a city tour visiting Kimironko market and the Gisozi genocide memorial site to understand more about the Rwanda genocide which claimed a number of different Have lunch and transfer to Musanze – the nearest town to Volcanoes National Park found in the northern province of Rwanda arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (mid range)/ Hotel Muhabura (budget)
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You will enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00am. After briefing, you will start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.

However, the guides will try to find them from where they were last seen the previous day! You will spend 1 hour with these gentle giants and later return to your lodge to refresh and relax. In the evening, you can do an optional community tour around Ruhengeri for a Rwanda cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge(mid range)/ Hotel Muhabura (budget) as above
Day 3: Bisoke Bisoke Hike – Volcanoes National Park
You will enjoy breakfast and set out for Mt. Bisoke hike which is part of Volcanoes National Park; home to Rwanda gorillas. On reaching the summit, you will discover a beautiful crater lake and the whole experience is overwhelming! Along the trail, you will discover a lot of birdlife and captivating scenery – the reason Rwanda is referred to as the “land of a thousand hills”. After the hike, you will have lunch and transfer to Kigali city where time allowing, you will visit the genocide museum and later transfer to the airport for your onward flight or dropped at your hotel in Kigali.
