Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale national Park

Depending on your location in Kampala city or Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our company representative with your driver / guide and transfer to Kibale forest heading west past Mityana and continue to Fort Portal where you will have a stopover for lunch. Proceed to Kibale forest arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge/ Heritage Safari Lodge

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale forest

After an early morning breakfast, wake up early to track chimps near Kanyanchu. This can take you half a day. There are primates in the area like the mona monkey,  L’Hoest monkey, baboons, white and black colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red colobus, blue monkeys and pottos. Other animals include forest elephants unique from the common type, giant forest hogs and a striking tree species. After the experience, enjoy Lunch and later take a guided nature walk to Bigodi swamp sanctuary, a good site for birders. The Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek can easily be marked among the other bird 137 species. There is also an array of butterfly species. Later return for dinner and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge/ Heritage Safari Lodge as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning at your hotel,  make your way to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving in time for lunch and embark on the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel – famously known to possess the highest hippopotamus concentration in the world. You will also see crocodiles, lots of birds and other animals as they come to drink and bathe. After the cruise, you will do an optional game drive and proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Pumba Safari Cottages.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe (Appx. 7 hours)
Get up for an early morning breakfast and make an early start on your journey back to Kampala with a lunch en-route arriving Kampala in the afternoon. You can also participate in an early morning breakfast before you make your way back to kampala city(optional activity) Proceed to Entebbe and drop-off at the airport for onward flight or any other place within Kampala or Entebbe.
