Day 1:  City tour & Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest

You will be picked from your hotel in Kigali and you will participate in the Kigali city tour which will help you visit a number of destinations in the country like; the Kigali genocide memorial museum which will help you understand more about the 1994 Rwanda genocide to understand more about the causes of the unfortunate time in the country that led to the death of over 1,000,000 Rwandans, you can also visit the largest market in the country Kimironko market which has the most rewarding experience in the park. after the rewarding experience, you will have lunch and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through Katuna boarder and arriving Bwindi – the home of Uganda gorillas in the evening. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi

On day two of your 7 days Bwindi gorilla safari from Kigali you will enjoy an early morning breakfast at your hotel and your guide will transfer you to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for briefing session about the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking in Uganda by the park ranger guides. After the briefing session, you will embark on your gorilla trekking safari in the park accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas in Africa; the activity can take about 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas because they usually move around in search for food. When you get to the gorillas, you will spend one hour with the species observing their rewarding features and after the trek, you will enjoy your lunch packs and transfer back to your lodge. You can also take part in the evening cultural tours around the Batwa community to take part in the batwa trail experience to understand more about the cultural values of the interesting group of people. After the experience you can head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Ruhija Community Rest Camp (budget), Bakiga Lodge (mid-range), Ruhija Safari Lodge (luxury)

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Evening Game Drive

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will meet up with your guide and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park via the Ishasha sector which will give you rewarding views of the different animal species. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After you have had your lunch and checking in at your hotel, you will head out for an evening game drive in the park where you will get to see a variety of wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes, waterbucks and if you’re lucky enough you will get to see a number of carnivores like the lions, leopards hunting and so many more. Dinner and Overnight at Pumba Safari Cottages (Budget)/ Elephant Hub (Midrange)/ Elephant Plains (Luxury).

Day 4: Lion Tracking/ Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to the park plains to take part in the game drive which will give you the chance to watch a number of rewarding game animals like the herbivores for example the elephants, elands, gazelles, bush bucks grazing in the plains. Alternatively, instead of the game drive you can take par/ lion tracking experience in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will have great views of the sunrise, big four mammals which are lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, other animals like waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, views of different bird species among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will participate in the boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will watch concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthogs drinking water along the banks, view water birds like yellow billed stork, cormorants, hornbills, African skimmer, kingfishers, fish eagles among others. Day 5:  Transfer to Kibale National Park

After a refreshing breakfast at your hotel, you will reconnect with your driver guide and embark on a 3-4 hours’ drive to Kibale National Park, the home to a number of primate species in Uganda. You Arrive in time to have lunch at your lodge and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guesthouse (Budget)/ Isunga Lodge (Midrange)/ Chimpundu Lodge (Luxury)

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trek and Optional visit to Bigodi Wetland

After an early breakfast on at your hotel lodge you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kanyachu Visitors Centre for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park where you will take part in the briefing session for the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking in Uganda. After the briefing session, you will be allocated a habituated chimpanzee troop to trek which is also safe to visit because they are used to human presence. You will also be allocated to a park guide who is well knowledgeable about the trails in the park that will lead you to the habituated troop.

Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their location and movement they like to move from one place to another this is because the chimpanzees are very active species that are always on the move in search of food. After accessing the chimpanzee troops, you will get to spend one hour with them observing their rewarding features in the wild. After the one-hour encounter with the chimpanzees you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and start the journey to your lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon, you can participate in an optional visit to Bigodi Wetland where you will embark on a guided nature walk and get a chance to see a number of bird species including the endangered Shoebill Stork. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guesthouse (Budget)/ Isunga Lodge (Midrange)/ Chimpundu Lodge (Luxury)

Day 7: Transfer Back to Kigali.

After having your early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will check out of your hotel and reconnect with your guide who will drive you back to Kigali city with a stopover for lunch enroute and the end of your 7 days Bwindi gorilla safari from Kigali after being dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport.
