Day 1: Pickup in Kigali city and transfer to Bwindi
Your guide will pick you up from Kigali city, where you will participate in the Kigali city tour, an amazing experience that will give you a look into the culture of the people of Rwanda. You will visit the genocide memorial museum, which will give you access to a look into the 19994 Rwanda genocide that claimed the lives of several Rwandans. You will visit the Kimironko market, where you will purchase several souvenirs and also get to engage with the locals to understand more about their cultures. After the experience, you will head to Bwindi impenetrable national park reaching in time to participate in the Batwa trail experience, a rewarding experience that involves understanding and exploring the behavior of the forest people who used to live in the forest, co-existing with the forest and the wild animals. At the Batwa community, you will get to understand more about the community through their traditional dances, folk songs, and so much more. After the time with the community, you will head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Uganda and departure
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, head to the hotel to participate in the filming of the gorillas in their natural habitat as you embark on gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The safari experience will give you the chance to film the species in their natural habitat from how they co-exist with one another. You will watch their social structure, which involves the dominant silverback who has all the mating rights with the females in the family; he also has the sole purpose of protecting the family from external attacks, and so on.
