Gorilla habituation involves travelers hiking through the impenetrable forests following a habituated guide who will take you through the forests to access the habituated family that is undergoing the habituation process. What makes the experience interesting is the fact that it takes about 2 years for the species to get accustomed to human presence. When you get to the family, you will spend 4 hours with the species observing their behavior in the wild, among which include how they react to different training sessions before they are introduced to the general public.

Important to note, while hiking through the forests to access the species, you will access several different attractions from the primates like the dent’s monkey, Mona monkey, olive baboon, hamlyn’s monkey, vervet monkey, and many other primates. You will also get to watch a number of different primate species. You will also have the opportunity to access several different bird species, like the species from the Guinea-Congo biome, the Albertine endemic bird species, and many other rewarding attractions.
