Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls Np and a boat cruise
On day 1 of the 7 Days Murchison Falls, Kidepo and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Safari, depending on your location in Kampala city or your hotel in the city, you will be picked up as early as 6:30 am to embark on your drive to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda. after the briefing session about your safari, you will now embark on the drive along the Kampala-Gulu highway having a stopover in Luwero district for some fresh organic fruits like oranges, pineapples, passion fruits, mangoes, and so on. After the stopover, you will make your way to the park reaching in time to participate in the boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park. Before you participate in the boat cruise, you will participate in the top of the falls hike which will give you rewarding top views of the world’s most powerful waterfalls. After spending time at the top of the falls, you will then make your way to participate in the afternoon/ evening boat cruise which will also give you rewarding views of the bottom of the falls in the park watching a number of bird species like African fish eagles, Red throated bee eaters, skimmers, cattle egrets not forgetting the rare shoebill stork and others. After the safari experience, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and transfer to kapchorwa
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your guide to transfer to the park’s plains to watch a number of different animal species. Some of the species that can be seen include the big cats as they hunt for their prey in the wild, the early risers like the elephants, Uganda kobs, and many herbivores catching their first bite of the day. Like the elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, jackals, hyenas, Uganda kobs, Oribis, buffaloes, waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests, bushbucks, and hopefully the elusive leopards and others. After the experience, return to your lodge for check out of the park and set off your journey to Kapchorwa for overnight and dinner at a selected hotel.
Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Depending on your location in Kapchorwa our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, brief you about the safari, and then be transferred to Kidepo Valley National Park. Alternatively, you can catch your flight at Entebbe International Airport by aero link to Kidepo Valley National Park. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge for lunch where you will head for an afternoon game drive where you will drive to Narus Valley which will give you access a number of different animal species like; buffaloes, elephants, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, oribi, elands, warthogs this is the perfect spot for travelers interested in the game drives in the park because of the water source where the species can gather to quench their thirst and also graze. You will also get to watch carnivores like lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas if you are lucky, and different bird species. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah lodge-midrange or Apoka Rest camp-budget.
Day 4: Morning game drive and Departure
After morning breakfast at your hotel, meet up with your driver guide to go for another morning game drive which gives you an opportunity to watch animals that you will have missed out on in the previous game drive. During the game drive you will visit Kanangorok hot spring where you will have great views of the mountains, animals, and different bird species and also get the chance to visit the Karamoja people to understand more about their culture as you interact with them and so on. Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On day 5 of 7 Days Murchison Falls, Kidepo and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the southwestern part of Uganda it will take you about 9 hours to reach the park. You will have an en-route lunch at Mbarara. Continue with your drive to the park having spectacular views of the farmlands, traditional homesteads, tea plantations, and many more. You will also have stopovers for photography to soak in the beauty of the West. Upon arrival in the park, check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have an early morning breakfast at 6:30 am and with packed lunch boxes. You will be picked up by your driver guide to transfer you to park headquarters for a briefing about gorillas. After, you will make your way to the habituated gorilla family which you will get to spend an hour with when you get in contact with them. The gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park will take between 2-7 hours when you get in contact with them take their pictures, and watch their behavioral patterns in the wild. After the safari experience, you will then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. At Lake Bunyonyi, you will participate in the boat cruise on Uganda’s deepest lake where you can visit akampene island which has a unique history, you will watch a number of bird species and if you’re interested you can also go swimming in the bilharzia free waters. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Boat cruise and Departure to Kampala /Entebbe
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out the lodge and go for a boat ride on the Lake where you will be able to explore some of the 29 islands such as the akampene island which was a punishment island where young girls were abandoned by their parents when they got impregnated before marriage and many other islands. Alternatively, instead of a boat cruise, you can participate in a village walk to understand more about the culture of the people of Uganda and their unique cultures. After you will make your way back to kampala having a stopover at the equator at kayabwe for lunch. After you will make your back to be dropped at a location of your choice in Kampala City or Entebbe International Airport
