Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park

As early as 6:00 am, you will be picked up by your travel guide/driver a representative of our tour company who will transfer you to Kibale National Park.  While making your way to the park, get ready to watch a number of different attractions and stopovers from the equator in Kayabwe where you will take part in the northern and southern hemisphere experiments. you will make your way to Kibale National Park having another stopover in Fort Portal for lunch where you will get to taste some of the authentic Ugandan local dishes. After you make your way to Kibale National Park, on reaching, you will transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay as you get ready to take part in the next day’s activities.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your guide to transfer you to Kibale National Park for you to take part in the chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park is carried out in Kanyachu on reaching headquarters, you will participate in a briefing session for your experience in Uganda where you will understand the rules and regulations to follow while on your chimpanzee trekking safari experience in Uganda. The rewarding activity will give you the opportunity to visit one of the habituated chimpanzee troops in the park and get the chance to know more about the chimpanzees like how they co-exist with one another, and their feeding patterns among other rewarding experiences, during your safari you will take pictures of the primates a number of bird species among other attractions in the park.  After the rewarding experience in the park, you will transfer back to your hotel for relaxation and lunch in the evening you will have dinner and an overnight stay. Alternatively, in the evening, you can participate in nature walks which will give you the opportunity to access a number of attractions from primates like the dent’s monkey, Hamlyn’s monkey, silver monkey, black and white colobus monkey among other rewarding primates in the wild.

Day 3: Cultural tour and departure

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to the local community where you will visit the locals in Bigodi and you will see how the locals co-exist with the Bigodi wetland where they get a number of products and raw materials. There are several different projects that you can also visit like the projects to sponsor a ranger’s kid. In the local communities, you can also buy a number of crafts like baskets and pen holders as souvenirs at the end of your trip After the trip to the local community. After the experience, you will be transferred back to Kampala, through Mbarara town, you will have a stopover to have lunch at the Igongo Cultural Center and be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kampala Center or the Entebbe International Airport and the end of your 3 Days Uganda Chimpanzee Trekking Safari experience.
